De Wasstraat
De autowasstraat is een nostalgische plek. Als kind was het een fenomeen dat veel meer lading met zich bracht dan waar het voor bestemd was. Tijdens de eerste editie van NAP+ presenteren 20 jonge kunstenaars die net de academie of het master/ateliers programma afgerond hebben, hun werk in deze voormalige autowasserij. De Wasstraat verlegt dat gevoel van spanning naar druk, verwondering en ongrijpbaarheid.
De werken in de tentoonstelling variëren van films, installaties tot aan geluidswerk en schilderijen. Allemaal van buiten naar binnen.
De tentoonstelling is samengesteld door Benjamin Carels, Jade van Doesburg en David Kloosterboer.

De Wasstraat
The car wash is a nostalgic place. As a child, it was a phenomenon that carried much more weight than what it was intended for. During the first edition of NAP+, 20 young artists who have just completed the school of art or the master/atelier program will present their work in this former car wash.
"De Wasstraat" shifts that sense of tension to pressure, wonder and elusiveness.
The works in the exhibition range from films, installations to sound work and paintings. All from the outside in.
De Wasstraat is curated by Benjamin Carels, Jade van Doesburg and David Kloosterboer

NAP+ heeft Echobox uitgenodigd, een gerenommeerd Amsterdams radiostation dat elke week live uitzendt van onder de zeespiegel en met zijn eclectische poise een nieuwe stem geeft aan kunstbeurzen.
-De agenda bestaat uit lezingen, interviews en muzikale programma's en laat de geluiden horen van mensen die diep geworteld zijn in de kunstwereld.

NAP+ has invited Echobox, a renowned Amsterdam radio station that broadcasts live every week from below sea level and gives a new voice to art fairs with its eclectic poise.
