Welcome to NAP+

The mission of NAP+ is to create an accessible, affordable, and dynamic platform for emerging and mid-career artists, curators, and galleries. This is based on the wish to foster a thriving community of contemporary art. We are committed to breaking traditional boundaries and creating an accessible art experience that resonates with the youthful spirit of Amsterdam. We believe in a strong community, connected through a shared engagement with quality, accessibility, creativity, inclusivity, sustainability and innovation.

NAP+ is an event with a wink to the classical model of a fair. It promises to be a refreshing and enriching addition to the cultural landscape with some raw (exciting!) edges that all the participants are happy to be a part of!

The first edition of NAP+ will take place in an industrial building, a former garage in the neighbourhood of Amsterdam Sloterdijk station.

An important element of our concept is to encourage emerging talent. That is why we invited a group of three young curators to organize a show in one of the huge spaces of the former garage. David Kloosterboer, Benjamin Carels and Jade Van Doesburg have selected 20 upcoming artists from KABK The Hague, Rietveld Academy, Rijksakademie and the Ateliers for a group show. This curated section has the splashing title: ‘De Wasstraat’ (Car Wash)

Located at Donauweg 11 in Amsterdam, NAP+ can easily be reached by bike, public transport (Isolatorweg/Sloterdijk) and by car. We offer free parking on the premises.
